RoboForm for the Mac: 1Passwd

1Passwd 2.0 is out and it has some great new features. In case you didn't see my earlier post, 1Passwd is a password manager and form filler extraordinaire for the Mac. For those of you looking for a Mac version of RoboForm, you can stop looking. First, Siber Systems doesn't make one. Second, 1Passwd is all you need for the Mac. If you have used RoboForm on your PC, you can export your passcards to 1Passwd on your Mac.

If you are not already convinced about 1Passwsd, consider that it also prevents phishing attacks.

It's definately not "ALL you need" -- and in no way is it as good as roboform.

One of the great features of Roboform is that it can act much like a favorites list, i organize all my passcards, for instance "bills" and I can can click on "CitiCards" - it automatically takes me to the CitiCards site, and fill in the user/pass and logs me in.

With 1passwd, the software simply saves your user/pass. You still have to remember the sites, and manually enter them in to visit them, etc. Roboform's functionality blows 1passwd away... however, as far as Macs go, I'm not sure if there is anything as good as roboform, so 1passwd it is.
